Cros des Calades

Cros des Calades Ballon white is made from Viognier, Roussane and  Sauvignon, the grapes are organically grown and the fermentation take place with the naturally present yeast on the grapes. The wine gives a delicious and fresh cuvée: a very present nose with aromas of white-fleshed fruits, which continues with a fluid, invigorating and refreshing palate. A pleasant companion as an aperitif, with seafood or an onion pie.

The Cros des Calades is a newly created winery by Florence and Benoit Chazallon du Chateau de la Selve. They vinify the organic grapes of 5 vineyards around their cellar that are only 5 km away. It is situated in Grospierre in the southern rhone region. They have the same ethos as on their main Chateau, respect of the soil, minimal intervention in the vineyard and the winery. In order to have purity and freshness in their wines. The wines are easy drinking and fit perfectly well in their range of products.The Ballon range is declined in Red, White, and Rosé.
