Respect the vine, enjoy the wine, that is the Domaine Guerrin & Fils ethos.
At the heart of a protected natural site between the Roche de Solutré and the Roche de Vergisson in southern Burgundy, just to the west of Mâcon, is the village of Vergisson where our wine estate first took root. Created in 1926, the estate already produced its own wines from the terroir today known as “The Maréchaude” or “The Crays” and today we are the 4th generation of winemakers to cultivate the land and continue this passion and rigor for the production of quality wines.
Our vines are split between more than 35 limestone plots making up a total area of 14 hectares, completing a patchwork of different soil types that offer an exceptional diversity of terroirs. This in particular gives each of our wines their truly distinctive character.
We produce three appellations in total Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Macon-Vergisson and our hands-on, artisanal approach to viticulture is guided by our constant desire to produce wines of quality and character. As we always say, respect the vine, enjoy the wine.
