Cros des Calades Ballon Red is made from Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are organically grown and the fermentation take place with the naturally present yeast on the grapes. A bottle loaded with red fruit, easy drinking, this wine can take you from your aperitif all the way to dessert, or a perfect companion for a party. And all this in respect of organic winemaking, it punches above it’s price tag for sure.

The Cros des Calades is a newly created winery by Florence and Benoit Chazallon du Chateau de la Selve. They vinify the organic grapes of 5 vineyards around their cellar that are only 5 km away. It is situated in Grospierre in the southern rhone region. They have the same ethos as on their main Chateau, respect of the soil, minimal intervention in the vineyard and the winery. In order to have purity and freshness in their wines. The wines are easy drinking and fit perfectly well in their range of products.The Ballon range is declined in Red, White, and Rosé.
